Education: Obtained his Law Degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña in 1979 (Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña-UNPHU), with additional studies in Economics and American Law in Boston University and George Washington University. In addition, he has a Masters in Law (L.L.M.) in Economic and Corporate Law (Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra-PUCMM) and a Masters in Constitutional Law and Fundamental Rights with Official European Certification (L.L.M. Universidad Castilla-La Mancha and Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra). Likewise, he obtained a certificate from Harvard University as he completed the Harvard University Negotiation Program.

As a published writer and columnist he has several publications in a variety of law journals and newspapers.

Mr. Pereyra has an established and lasting career as a practicing attorney and has ample experience in arbitration before the Alternative Dispute Resolution Center of the Santo Domingo Chamber of Commerce (Centro de Resolución Alternativa de Controversias-CRC de la Cámara de Comercio y Producción de Santo Domingo); the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the American Association of Arbitration (AAA), as an arbitrator and litigator alike.

Since it’s foundation in 1991 Mr. Pereyra has been the head of Pereyra & Asociados.
