Education: Obtained his Law Degree and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña in 1979 (Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña-UNPHU), with additional studies in Economics and American Law in Boston University and George Washington University. In addition, he has a Masters in Law (L.L.M.) in Economic and Corporate Law (Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra-PUCMM) and a Masters in Constitutional Law and Fundamental Rights with Official European Certification (L.L.M. Universidad Castilla-La Mancha and Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra). Likewise, he obtained a certificate from Harvard University as he completed the Harvard University Negotiation Program.
As a published writer and columnist he has several publications in a variety of law journals and newspapers.
